Flo Hilliard holds a Master’s in Health Science with a concentration in Addictions Counseling from the University of North Florida. She is in long term recovery and has worked in the field for over 28 years in the areas of clinician, UW-lecturer, video producer, grant writer and advocate to improve addiction prevention, treatment and recovery. She is the creator of Many Voices, One Journey – a video production discussing the special issues of women and addiction. She is a founding member of Faces & Voices of Recovery in Washington D.C. and was a national trainer on The Science of Addiction and Recovery  funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse. She is currently the Director of Wisconsin Voices For Recovery and ED2 Recovery in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
