Flo holds a Master’s Degree in Health Science with a specialty in Addictions Counseling. In the last 30 years she has dedicated her professional life to work in addiction and recovery as a clinician, lecturer, prevention specialist, grant writer and one of the original grantees of CSAT’s Recovery Community Support Projects leading to the founding of Faces & Voices of Recovery. She created the first ever series of training tapes and manual in 1995 around the special issues of women seeking treatment for recovery. In 2001 she wrote, produced and directed a training and therapeutic video, “Many Voices, One Journey.” In 2006 she developed the Science of Addiction and Recovery Training of Trainers and with support from the National Institute on Drug Abuse delivered the training across the country.
She is the founder of the Wisconsin statewide RCO, Wisconsin Voices For Recovery. Flo is also a person in long term recovery, who currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin with her husband.
