Thanks to everyone who helped make the 2005 Summit such a success! 250 recovery advocates came to the nation’s capitol and we've put together critical information from the summit to help you with your recovery advocacy efforts. Recovery Advocacy Strategy Day (agenda and handouts)

Wellstone Action took participants through the steps of planning a campaign, getting out their message, and building alliances to mobilize greater support for recovery. There was lots of fun “hands-on” practice like actually staging a press conference and developing a public service television ad. People worked in small teams in this action-oriented strategic planning and skill building session, working on real issues.
