CARA RECOVERY DAY, named after the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) of 2016, is an event hosted by Faces & Voices of Recovery and co-sponsored by national recovery organization partners.  This event brings together people in recovery from addiction from all over the United States to advocate on behalf of recovery support services and raise awareness that long-term recovery is a reality for over 23 million Americans. Our goal is to have 500 individuals participate in 2017.

OUR AGENDA is to bring attention to the recovery support services that are critical to a comprehensive approach to addressing addiction and supporting individuals in recovery.  Our united recovery voices represent young people in recovery, recovery high schools, collegiate recovery programs, recovery residences and recovery community organizations.  This event is held in conjunction with the 2nd Annual CARA Family day, hosted by our friends at the Addiction Policy Forum.
