All across our country, people like you are speaking out about the reality of recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. With your stories and advocacy, we are making a difference in public understanding of addiction and recovery.

Young People in Recovery is a series of stories told by young men and women about their new lives in recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. According to a new survey, the vast majority of teens and young adults believe that recovery from addiction is possible. These young men and women are living proof. We thank everyone who's participated and encourage you to share your recovery story.

This project was supported in part by a contract with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (www.samhsa.gov) and Faces & Voices of Recovery donors. The stories were filmed by Greg Williams, 4th Dimension Productions.
