What NRI has been up to!

We just completed week five of seven of virtual trainings for folks around the State of Florida, even during COVID-19.

Our virtual trainings are just as interactive as our in-person trainings!
We have breakout rooms, small and large group activities, and plenty of time for networking among participants.

Here are some comments from recent virtual attendees:

“It opened up my eyes on knowing how to approach and advocate for others especially those in recovery”

“I enjoyed the breakout rooms sessions, the valuable information shared by each presenter; the safe space provided for individuals to share their journey, for each to learn from other”

“I’ve gained knowledge of resources that will be helpful in furthering my own education in peer support”

Faces & Voices of Recovery is pleased to collaborate with the Florida Department of Children and Families, Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association (FADAA) and the Peer Support Coalition of Florida to build the capacity of Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs) through training and technical assistance.
