Job purpose

The Salesforce Developer coordinates with technical staff members to support Faces & Voices team members’ and external customers’ technology needs and determine necessary elements for the successful implementation of new technology services. They will assist with IT projects to ensure timely completion.

Specific Focus Area

This position focuses on technology, infrastructure, and customer service. The Salesforce Developer will support internal team members and external customers’ technology needs and support assigned projects and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing and delivering client’s specs & customization project implementation
  • Execute/collaborate on all phases of internal & external projects: discovery and requirements definition, design, build, test, and deploy
  • Be able to communicate effectively across different teams
  • Manage platform access, technology tools, and account permissions
  • Monitor performance of systems according to requirements, including troubleshooting issues and outages
  • Train staff and customers on systems as necessary for the onboarding process
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Provide Tier 1 IT Support to internal staff and external stakeholders as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate (AA) or equivalent technology support and customization/development experience required

Experience

  • 1+ years in systems administration and/or development
  • Working knowledge of Database Administration and Principles
  • Experience in implementation and configuration of IT systems
  • Experience with WordPress, Zapier, and Microsoft Office Suite or similar
  • Experience working with internal or external customers gathering business needs and deploying custom solutions
  • Knowledge in the field of behavioral health & addiction recovery support services

Skills

  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects
  • Applied knowledge and use of Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL or transferable skills  i.e. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
  • Working knowledge of Database Administration and Principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Sharepoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and written/oral communication skills
  • Strong commitment and enthusiasm for recovery advocacy and the people and groups we serve around the country

Professional Certification

  • Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator certification preferred

Working Conditions

Faces & Voices of Recovery employs remote workers, but projects may require staff to travel. Must have a high-speed internet connection. All staff are required to be reached during office hours 9-5 ET unless discussed otherwise with the supervisor.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time. The person in this position frequently communicates with customers who have inquiries. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
