Nicholas McCardle

Nicholas joined Faces & Voices in August of 2021 as a program assistant to provide support to the advocacy team.

Nicholas earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics & Information Management from West Virginia University and he is currently pursuing his Master of Health Administration. Prior to joining the team at Faces & Voices of Recovery, he worked in higher-ed development and fundraising. His passion for nonprofit work originates from his time as a Reporter for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, where he advocated for mental health by authoring content and promoting Foundation campaigns. In 2020, Nicholas penned three chapters in the NYT Best-Selling Book, CHANNEL KINDNESS: Stories of Kindness & Community. Throughout his education and past experience, Nicholas has gained expertise in fundraising, recruitment, advocacy, content creation, and healthcare administration.

In his free time, Nicholas enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and trying new restaurants.
