Group FacilitationRunning Engaged Groups Meetings 2026824

July 28, 2026

Facilitating a group is a complicated endeavor. Those new to facilitation, struggling with participation, or encountering sensitive situations will benefit from this training. It provides participants with the essential skills to create, promote, and run any group. The training focuses on 6 primary skills: handling sensitive situations, participant barriers, the 10/90 rule, probing techniques, reflective listening, and energizer strategies.

Funding for this initiative was made possible (in part) by grant no. 1H79TI088037 from SAMHSA. The views expressed in written conference materials or publications and by speakers and moderators do not necessarily reflect the official policies of the Department of Health and Human Services; nor does mention of trade names, commercial practices, or organizations imply endorsement by the U.S. Government.
