The Words Matter webinar, a snapshot of the Faces & Voices of Recovery signature Our Stories Have Power training, explores how our words affect people  in recovery. It shows how to use our words to create greater inclusivity, trade discrimination for dignity for people living with substances, and perform language audits of our organizations. The webinar discusses research on common terminology and debunks commonly held beliefs and myths.  Participants will learn ways to eliminate stigmatizing language through storytelling and conducting a stigma audit.
