Recovery Stories

Hello my name is Diane Courtney and I am a person in long term recovery and what that means for me is I have not used Methamphetamine since November 22, 1997. Since I have gained my recovery, I have obtained an Associate Degree in Human Services, BS in Sociology minor in Criminal Justice, BS in Psychology and working now to complete my Masters in Clinical Mental Health specializing in Forensic Populations. I have four credentials in substance abuse treatment ~ CRADC, SQP, CS, SAP. I now hold the position of Director of Outpatient Treatment Services with New Beginnings Counseling Group in Maryville Missouri. All of this would never have been possible without my recovery! My motto is paying it forward to those that suffer from Substance Use Disorders and assist them as much as possible. I am too blessed to be stressed!!
