Recovery Stories

My name is John and I am a member with long term recovery, what that looks like for me is I have not touched a drink or a drug since May 25th, 2001. Only by the grace of loving God and a 12 step fellowship have I been able to do the impossible! I now work in the recovery field and I will forever be grateful that I am in a position to “each one teach one” that used to be so foreign to me, now it makes all the sense in the world. It has not been easy, but well worth it. I have a 13yr old son who has never seen me under the influence of anything, that is miraculous to me.
