NOTE: We do not have any Recovery Ambassador trainings scheduled at this time.  Please check back soon or contact us for updates.

The Recovery Ambassador Program will prepare individuals to advance public understanding and appropriate responses to addiction. The training program consists of a one-day seminar. Each seminar will accommodate 40 participants. Course material includes instruction in recruiting volunteers, building messages, organizing community action, engaging policy makers, raising money and renewing team effort.

In a Foreword to the training text, "Speaking Out For Addiction Recovery," Congressman Jim Ramstad said: "Public advocacy works and can affect life saving change for this and future generations of alcoholics and addicts. We finally have a textbook to mobilize the recovery community into action. This program is a vital resource for all recovering people, as well as families and friends, who strive to carry the message and seek to make a difference."
