Portland Recovery Community Center is hosting Maine’s 11th annual Rally 4 Recovery at Payson Park, right on Back Cove in Portland, Maine. This yearly event is a celebration of recovery in Maine and serves as a resource fair, highlighting organizations that support recovery in our communities.

We will gather together at this FREE event for live music from Motor Booty Affair, kids’ activities, speakers, and the annual recovery countdown. A number of food trucks will be on site! In addition, tables are available for community partners to share resources. This is a great family-friendly event organized by people in recovery, allies, friends, and families.

September is Recovery Month: a national observance to educate Americans about substance use disorder and show that it is possible to recover and live healthy, rewarding lives. Recovery Month celebrates the progress made by those in recovery and spreads the message of hope to others. The message remains — Recovery is for Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community!

Funds raised from the Rally 4 Recovery support Portland Recovery Community Center (PRCC) groups, wellness, recreation activities, education, and advocacy efforts. PRCC is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
