Current Federal Asks

1. Re-entry Act of 2023 (H.R.2400/S.1165)
This Act challenges the Medicaid Inmate Exclusion Policy, aiming to improve healthcare access for inmates by permitting Medicaid benefits to restart 30 days before release.

2. RESTORE Act of 2023 (H.R.3479/ S.1753)
This Act, in the 2023 Farm Bill, proposes to end the lifetime ban on SNAP for people convicted of a drug felony, fostering an environment conducive to recovery.

3. Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program Reauthorization Act of 2023 (H.R.3355)
This Act aims to reauthorize the Building Communities of Recovery (BCOR) Grant Program, the Technical Assistance Center for Peers, and the STAR LRP.
