Gloria Uridel is the Training Program Coordinator for Faces & Voices of Recovery. Prior to this, she worked for a Recovery Community Organization in Austin, Texas for the past six years as a Recovery Support Peer Specialist, Wellness Specialist, Training Facilitator and Coordinator. During her time there, she created a Wellness program based on SAMHSA’s 8 dimensions of Wellness and facilitated training the Texas RSPS Program and various continued education courses. Gloria has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas-Austin in Radio, TV & Film. She has many years of experience in film and video production and enjoys the creative arts.
She is passionate about wellness as an integral part of her own recovery journey and sharing that with others. Gloria is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. She enjoys being in nature, hiking, biking, working out, yoga, dance and photography. She has sustained her recovery path since 1987.
