I was born in Mexico in a small town in the middle of the desert called Villaguerrero, in the state of Jalisco. Eventually my family moved to Monterey, CA, and was raised in the USA. Growing up in a beautiful coastal area with the ocean on one side, forest on the other, and connected to a nearby large and tech cities, a lot of inspiration comes from nature and the tech industry.
I enjoy experiencing the great outdoors and living a healthy lifestyle. You can find me at a campsite, hiking on the trail, or breaking a sweat at the gym in a high-intensity interval training (HITT) class, spin, yoga, or weightlifting.
My education experience allowed me the opportunity to live in sunny San Diego and San Francisco. San Diego was home to my undergraduate studied where I attended The Art Institute and majored in graphic design. San Francisco was home to my graduate school where I attended at The Academy of Art University and focused on motion pictures and television, cinematography.
In my career, I’ve learned that as a designer I’m always learning skills and improving them to deliver unique creations. I strive to create a positive work environment, while meeting the deliverables’ deadlines on time. With 10+ years of experience as a graphic designer I have been driven and inspired to convert to the digital world and move into the UI/UX/web world.
My creations are playful, colorful with an aura of sophistication and uniqueness. I have created collateral for print usage (brochures, flyers, annual reports, fact sheets, informational reports, fact sheets, conference marketing, signage/posters, postcards and magazines), the digital world (social media ads and the UI/UX), and brand visual (logos, business cards, and letterhead).
