I am born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. I have my Bachelors of Science degree in Administration of Justice with a concentration in Pre-Law studies from Texas Southern University. I’ve been in data for about seven years and truly coin myself as a huge tech nerd. My true passion for non-profit started while on a fellowship in Liberia, West Africa. While doing public service work there, I knew that this was the field I wanted to stay in. After moving to Texas, I worked at one of the largest non-profits fighting for fair healthcare justice for black and latino communities. In 2020, I was named a Forbes 30 under 30 scholar for my work in community organizing in the Houston area.
I am also a self-taught Graphic Designer as a side passion, crafter, avid reader and all things true-crime fan. I currently reside on the Northside of Chicago with my wonderful partner and toddler.
