Supervised injection facilities in Canada: past, present, and future
Presently, increased acceptance of SIFs as a result of Canada’s overdose crisis and political changes has led to the rapid escalation of efforts to expand SIFs across the country. Notwithstanding the importance of these developments, there remains a pressing need to amend federal legislation to better enable the scale-up of these services.
