Jermaine Hines

My story is attached as a PDF file. It was written about 3 and a half years ago as I approached my 1 year anniversary. I am still clean and sober today, and am a certificed Recovery Support Peer Specialist and Mental Health Peer Specialist. I currently hold the position of Operations Supervisor for a treatment center named Harmony Road Recovery in El Paso, Texas. I am also about to finish my educational requirements to become chemical dependency counselor intern. I could never have guessed I would be living such a full, and rewarding life like I am today. One of the best parts is that I get to bring up my peers from their early recovery and provide opportunities for them to become part of the recovery workforce.
