Tamika Carter-Hargrove
Tamika Carter-Hargrove is the Director of Operations at Faces & Voices of Recovery. She is a professional telecommuter with over 30 years of healthcare administration experience specializing in remote workflow coordination, quality assurance, control management, platform, and shared services implementation. In her various roles as business owner-operator, independent contractor, employee and supervisor, Tamika has gained in-depth understanding of the responsibilities of management as well as the needs of staff which she uses to translate complicated processes and procedures into easily accessible information. Experienced with organizational change, Tamika has remained flexible and adaptive to technological evolution and change management and is an advocate for constant training & education. While at Faces & Voices of Recovery, she has trained as race equity facilitator, and spearheads the internal diversity, equity, and inclusion training. She earned a BA in English from Columbia College where she honed her editing & copywriting skills, as well as talent as an artistic storyteller. She is a published author, poet, and Cave Canem fellow.
