May 18, 2026

This session explores the defining characteristics of a Recovery Community Organization (RCO), highlighting its recovery-focused mission, peer leadership, and accountability to the recovery community when addressing opioid, stimulant, and alcohol use disorders. Participants will learn what distinguishes RCOs from other recovery-centered and community-based organizations and how they strengthen recovery ecosystems to reduce overdose risk and promote recovery.
