January 13, 2026- Faces & Voices of Recovery and National Association for Children of Addiction (NACoA) are honored to partner in our shared commitment to strengthening families and advancing recovery-friendly communities.
For over 40 years, NACoA has focused on an often-overlooked population in the recovery journey: children impacted by a parent’s alcohol or other substance use disorder. These children are at increased risk of emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges, yet with early support and education, their outcomes can change dramatically. Kids and teens who benefit from such programs improve resilience and reduce their risk of developing a substance use disorder themselves later in life.
