Florida Recovery Project Mentor.  Jamie Chrisman Low hails from the east Tennessee foothills and resides in the South Carolina Piedmont. She is the statewide Recovery community network weaver for Faces and Voices of Recovery South Carolina and board secretary for Faces and Voices of Recovery Piedmont. She has served as project director and Recovery consultant on federal grants and as program manager for state funded initiatives. Recently, she joined colleagues to present at the SC Governor’s Opioid Summit and serve on the SC Peer Credentialing Advisory Commission.

Jamie is a licensed professional counselor associate and board certified telemental healthcare provider in North Carolina and South Carolina focused on anticipatory grief, co-occurring concerns, and trauma-informed care. Her professional expertise in existential theory, strength-based approaches, and person-centered, Recovery-oriented care reinforces her personal experience in long term Recovery and unwavering resolve to remove barriers and improve access to Recovery and wellness for individuals, families, and communities.
