Recovery’s advocacy efforts, connecting national priorities with local realities.
Members serve as regional Recovery Ambassadors, ensuring that the voices of
recovery communities are represented and amplified.

MISSON STATEMENT

To advance recovery-friendly public policy by fostering collaboration between national advocacy efforts and local recovery organizations, ensuring that diverse regional perspectives shape a unified voice for recovery.

Purpose & Role

  • Bilateral Information Sharing: Facilitate two-way communication
    between Faces & Voices and local recovery communities—bringing
    forward regional challenges, successes, and policy issues while sharing national priorities and resources.
  • Regional Advocacy Leadership: Identify emerging trends, mobilize
    grassroots advocacy, and amplify recovery voices within your region.
  • Collaboration & Connection: Strengthen the collective impact of recovery advocacy nationwide through regular engagement and knowledge exchange with statewide RCO leadership. Note: various types of statewide RCOs will be identified.
  • Education & Awareness: Educate policymakers and state, local and
    national recovery advocates about current policy issues; provide basic advocacy training & support in a bipartisan manner.
