[ORN] Workforce Multiplier Series: Peer Support for OUD, Stimulant & Polysubstance Use – Essential Skills for Running Engaged Groups and Meetings
This training provides practical skills for leading effective and engaging recovery groups and meetings. Participants explore the facilitator role as a guide who creates structure and supports group process rather than directing outcomes. The session covers group preparation, creating safe and brave spaces, managing group dynamics, and addressing barriers to participation such as fear, anger, and disengagement. Participants also learn how to integrate Motivational Interviewing techniques into group facilitation.
