
[ORN] Workforce Multiplier Series: Peer Support for OUD, Stimulant & Polysubstance Use – Ethics, Values, and Boundaries in Peer Recovery Support Work
This training builds a strong foundation in ethical practice, values, and professional boundaries in peer support roles. Participants learn how to navigate the unique challenges of peer work, including dual relationships, self-disclosure, and role clarity. The session highlights SAMHSA core competencies, ethical decision-making frameworks, and the importance of maintaining healthy boundaries to protect both peers and participants. Through real-world scenarios, participants gain tools to respond to complex situations with integrity and confidence.
