SOAR is a curriculum developed in collaboration with the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). This training provides individuals with a better understanding the science behind addiction and recovery. While experience changes beliefs, the facts about how substances dramatically affect the brain are a key component in helping the public understand the recovery process.

The Innovations in Recovery Leadership training offers attendees an exciting and highly dynamic exploratory process in which the foundational pillars of recovery leadership are unpacked. Our 3-day training is for emergent and seasoned leaders working or volunteering in a setting that prioritizes recovery support services. Those connected to Recovery Community Organizations or Centers, Collegiate Recovery Communities, Recovery High Schools, government agencies supporting recovery services statewide, family support organizations, recovery house managers, or a variety of other settings utilizing recovery supports, are encouraged to reach out to our training team to discuss the advantages of this unique curriculum. (13 continuing education hours- NADAAC and IC&RC.)

The Faces & Voices Organizational Development training is designed for managers and other staff involved in the initial organizational development phase and/or in helping evolve and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of an existing organization. The training will use a mixture of interactive approaches, including facilitator input, group work, and individual activities, and will provide the practical skills and techniques needed to make better decisions and see greater program impact. Topics covered include SWOT Analysis, Board Development, Infrastructure Development, Ethics, Policies and Procedures, Sustainability Planning, and Communications Planning.

This training also builds on the information covered in the RCO Bootcamp training and moves RCOs toward charting a course for financial stability. The training will use a mixture of interactive approaches including facilitator input, group work, and individual activities. It will provide practical skills and techniques needed to enhance decision-making and leverage program impact. Topics covered include Sustainability Plan Use, Budgeting, Board Engagement, Fundraising, Emergency Planning, Risk Management, and Financial Reporting. Training attendees will leave this training with specific 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year sustainability plans. It is helpful for RCOs to have previously attended an RCO Bootcamp.

The Academy will consist of an in-depth look at national standards, criteria, and elements of performance for the excellence of peer recovery support service delivery. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and exchange ideas to grow and strengthen their organizations to meet accreditation standards and build sustainability and longevity in their communities.

The Recovery Data Platform (RDP) is a HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based software solution that aids RCOs and other Peer Service Providers with the tools and assessments needed to effectively implement peer recovery support programs. Initial training sessions will prepare participants to utilize RDP. This session will provide participants with a deeper look at assessment tools, reports, and features of the Recovery Data Platform.
